Rey Herrera: Helps All His Neighbors in the Azteca neighborhood
Rey Herrera is the hero of the Azteca neighborhood. He has raised money and initiated programs to benefit the Azteca neighborhood for the last 30 years. In 1995 he led the effort to build 50 apartments for the Azteca neighborhood. “I will organize the community and the resources necessary to provide low-income housing to elderly persons and young families,” said Rey Herrera. Rey is a homeowner and lives on Zaragoza street in the heart of the Azteca neighborhood. He has lived and worked all of his life with a love for his fellow neighbor. Rey Herrera is a graduate of Martin High School and is a member of the board.
