El Azteca Housing Development provides low income housing in Laredo, Texas.

Built in the 90's, the project design embraces traditional Spanish and Mexican architectural themes, and incorporates fragments from an old convent that once stood there. El Azteca Housing Development is located on a city block on a bluff high above the Rio Grande, overlooking Mexico.

Built in the 90's, the apartment complex has 50 units: 23 one bedroom, 15 two-bedroom, and 12 three-bedrooms in four three story buildings.

Every tenant receives section 8 assistance; Azteca Economic Development and Preservation Corporation is the property manager.
