Azteca Economic Development and Preservation Corporation (AED&PC) has been serving the Laredo community since 1982 by creating housing and jobs for low-income families and individuals. AEDPC has also provided financial education classes in both urban and non-urban sectors of the community for the past two years. These classes include: basic banking, talking to teens about money, creating and maintaining good credit, and fixing bad credit.
Azteca Economic Development & Preservation Corporation (AEDPC) is a founding member of the Laredo Family Economic Success Coalition and took on the role of recruiting financial institutions, banks and credit unions, to join the Coalition. HEB and Bank of America recently became partners of the Coalition in the 2010 fiscal year to establish community initiatives in Laredo.
